www.thecircleoflife.ie OK, Lets start with the simple things in life that we take for granted and sometimes overlook. Like shampooing. Im going to take you through step by step on how to shampoo your hair using our Aveda products. Before we begin i want to point out that you may feel that paying more for certain hair products is a waste of money. I will show you in this video how we can make it more economically more cost effective using Aveda products. So when using the shampoo less is more. Here’s how you can make this work for you. Tip No. 1: When pouring the shampoo onto your hand you need the size of a 2 euro coin onto the palm of your hand. You then rub hands together to spread the product evenly throughout your scalp. Where people go wrong when shampooing their own hair is they do not massage the scalp enough and it doesn’t penetrate to the root of the hair where all the natural oils from your scalp accumulates. So its very important to massage thoroughly using the tips of your fingers for at least 2 minutes to give your hair a thorough cleanse. Your scalp is way more important than the hair itself when shampooing. The reason for this is when you then go to rinse your hair the shampoo then slides down the mid lengths and ends of your hair to cleanse the whole length of your hair. If you don’t reach the scalp area the hair does not get a thorough cleanse. Tip No: 2 Conditioning your hair: When conditioning your hair using the nourishing Aveda conditioner unlike the shampooing you do not need to go near your scalp. The conditioner again using a 2 euro size coin massaging the product into the palm of your hands together and spread the conditioner evenly throughout your mid lengths and ends only. Scalp massage is NOT needed. The conditioner will only ever deposit proteins and nutrients to repair and rebuild damaged hair to give you a great shiny glossy healthy looking hair. Tip No 3: If your hair is coloured and you find it has damaged your hair. The reason for this is that you could be using inappropriate shampoo and conditioner. If you are colouring your hair you need to align your shampoo and conditioner for home use to repair the damage done from colouring. This is where Aveda solves that problem. The recipe within this product us used to repair, deposit nutrients proteins and oils to reverse any damage done to your hair. This is what sets them apart from the cheap products you buy in supermarkets.
