Taro Bulbs Growing - Inexpensive Koi Fish Pond Eddo Plants

This was an experiment as we prepare for the koi pond renovation next year, looking at inexpensive way to landscape the pond with plants. We purchased some Taro bulbs (Colocasia Esculenta) also called Eddo, Dasheenfrom, and Kalo from an Asian vegetable market. The three bulbs cost 32 cents. We found out that it was so easy to grow these. We planted the bulbs in mid August outside and we just brought them in the garage the end of October to see how they winter inside the attached but unheated garage. As you can see towards the end of the video, we have also brought in our koi for the winter as the outside temperature continues to drop each day.
