Stockton Firefighters are proud to staff a Water Rescue program that provides service to the citizens of Stockton and the surrounding areas. Like any other dangerous operations, firefighters must train regularly to be proficient with strategies, tactics, and equipment. Today, certified Dive Rescue Stockton Firefighters from throughout the City cycled through dive training. Stockton's Water Rescue program is one of the busiest in the nation. Water Rescue 6 averages approximately 60 water rescue emergencies a year; approximately 30 of which require divers to enter the water. This video details a step by step of the water rescue drills from today. Stockton Firefighters are proud to serve and protect the citizens and City of Stockton, California.
