My Written Review
All android boxes look pretty much the same on the outside, size –wise. This is small and powerful and can easily be hidden and take up very little space on your entertainment center. This one is pretty fast and has not over-heated in my experience.
Product Features
• 1gig of ram, 8gig internal memory (probably about 4 gig useable internal memory) You can do things to increase that storage (see below).
• Comes with a Nice remote (probably one of the better ones that I have seen in working with android boxes)
• Comes with a power cable and an HDMI cable- it has other options for connecting but does not supply those cables. (Most boxes do provide all the available connections so this was a little different for me- I prefer to use the HDMI anyway so I’m fine with that.)
• Wireless
• Storage is expandable: has a microSD card slot, and 2 USB slots (If you are using a few apps you may be fine with what it has but if you are wanting to save some videos and things you may need some more memory to increase the speed.
• Runs pretty quickly comparatively, no experience with over-heating
• I love this interface- comes with a bar across the top that tells you temperature and information for your area. Has a nice quick bar at the bottom of the screen.
• Has Kodi Pre-installed on it which is nice. It’s a one-stop shop for streaming music, videos and TV shows. It’s definitely a convenient pre-install.
• Sound comes through well.
• Google Play store looks exactly like you see it on your phone or tablet. If you are comfortable navigating through android devices then you will have no difficulty using this box.
• You can plug in a USB wireless keyboard and mouse or a USB gaming console to navigate or play. It is much faster than navigating with the remote for some apps where you need to type or move around.
• You can download any apps that you want and you can remove any pre-installed apps very easily if you don’t want them. They are just taking up space is you don’t plan to use them. (We demonstrate this on my video)
• You have a pre-installed app to clear your memory that you can use if it is running slow to shut down any things running in the background and free up space.
• Through network you can connect to your WIFI, Ethernet or VPN
• USB game pads work with this. This makes gaming on this very convenient. The X-box USB controller works well with this.
• Does 4K video, works well with 1080 as well (this is what I have in my video)
The color is bright and vibrant and the picture is smooth with no glitching. This is a great option if you don’t have a Chromecast, if you want to make your TV smart or if you want to make your smart-TV android specific. We have Chromecast and this box just steps it up for us. It should be able to do anything that you want. Disclaimer: I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review.
