Upgrading the bridge on the Tim Kelly (Slaughter) Simpsons Robin guitar!

 

The late, great guitarist and songwriter Tim Kelly of Slaughter, was a huge Simpsons fan and owned several, Custom-made Robin guitars with Simpsons graphics. This particular guitar has a Groening-inspired caricature of Tim with the phrase "I'm Tim Kelly Dude!" ... It is owned by Rodney Hardison now, who is a great guy with a big heart! He actually gave Tim's "Grape" Robin Custom to Mark Slaughter as a gift, completing the karma circle and returning the iconic Purple Robin guitar back in to the Slaughter family... Originally built with a Kahler locking tremolo system, the old unit was no longer working and needed replacement. But, that particular trem unit was out of production and difficult to find, so Adam Reiver from FU-tone.com provided an upgrade Floyd Rose bridge with a solid brass sustain block. Watch as Will converts this Kahler equipped iconic guitar in to a fire-breathing Floyd Rose equipped monster!
