Fluke fishing using Sea Robin Strips

 

Sea Robin Strips make great Fluke/Flounder bait. Stays on the hook better than any natural cut bait that I can think of which is great for fishing around bait-stealing fish and the ability to cast hard without fear of losing the bait from the hook. I like the strips to be slim in profile so it can undulate nicely in the water, much like a fluke ribbon which is why I think fluke ribbons work so darn well. Don't just give them a big ol chunk of meat, refine it a bit and you'll see they will respond to it much better.
