Okay, so the storyline to this is pretty simple, with there being no direct storyline (it's all just Dramione moments, although its their "skinny love", not bright and happy love) except for the end. that's where you might become confused, so let me explain...
Draco is going to be used and kept alive so the death eaters can "practice their torture spells", although the Dark Lord wants to punish him for being "such a coward". Draco asks Hermione to kill him so he won't have to endure the months of upcoming torture, but Hermione refuses. That's when he says "Don't you understand? Do this". So Hermione, not being able to live with herself knowing the amount of pain the person she loves will be in, reluctantly uses the sectumsempra spell on Draco, killing him.
... yeah, it's a bit confusing but I'm sure you all will understand it...
