People were stuck at Jeju International Airport for the second day... as heavy fog grounded flights.
Let's go to our Lee Jee-hyun at the weather center for an update there as well as for more on what the weather has in store for us.
Jee-hyun,
A dense fog advisory was issued in Jeju on Sunday and the fog got thicker and thicker as the evening moved along... leading to those flight delays this morning.
Well, better to be on the safe side and make sure vision clears up 100-percent before planes take off. Now while Jeju remained blanketed under thick fog, we saw the central region under rain?
Very heavy in fact, heavy rain advisory was issued at 5PM this afternoon in Daegu, and Dalseong county in Daegu received 95 millimeters of rainfall today.
Warm and wet southwesterly winds will continue to blow in, leading to hot and humid conditions... and showers at times.
Speaking of which, the capital will receive rainfall by mid-week. Rain is expected on Wednesday and Thursday... and will also bring down the highs a few degrees.
But tomorrow is forecast to be muggy with a high of 30 degrees Celsius across the nation under a good amount of sunshine. But there is a chance of isolated rain in some of the inland regions.
On that note, let's take a closer look at the readings for tomorrow.
Seoul, Daegu, Gwangju and Busan will start out at 20 degrees Celsius, 18 in Jeju.
As for the highs,
Seoul, Daegu will rise to 29 degrees Celsius while Busan and Jeju will see highs of 26.
