The guitar is an instrument capable of the most expressive melodic moments, but also of complex polifony, an instrument-orchestra. Joel Sharbaugh is a classical guitarist from Bowie, Mary- land. Since completing his BA in Performance in 2012 at the Schwob School of Music with Andrew Zohn he has been studying at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano. TEDxLugano x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
