Written by Michael Cretu, Hubert Kemmler, Markus Löhr. Arranged and produced by Michael Cretu This is the instrumental b-side of “(I’ll Never Be) Maria Magdalena”. Hailing from Saarbrucken in Germany, Sandra Ann Lauer has had a chart run, which began in the mid-80s with “(I’ll Never Be) Maria Magdelena” up until today. Her early hits were written and produced by her then husband, Michael Cretu. “(I’ll Never Be) Maria Magdalena” was also a track from Sandra’s 1985 album, “The Long Play”, which, like the single, was also a hit in the major European markets and contained two further hit singles, “In The Heat Of The Night” and “Little Girl”. In spite of most of Sandra’s work being released in the English language, very few of her singles or albums look as if they were released in the US. She did, however, provide the vocals for Enigma, who did have major hits in the US and UK. Co-writers, Hubert Kemmler and Markus Löhr were members of the German group, Hubert Kah.
