Miles Macleod, English/Global Studies Teacher at Heritage High School, is the 2016-17 Wake County Public School System Teacher of the Year! He says he is on a quest to empower his students to take control of their learning. He does this by ensuring that they see a real-world, applicable use for what they are studying. This approach is one of many reasons that Macleod was chosen as our Teacher of the Year!
