Hello everyone, in this video I will be showing a recent logo design I did for an up coming eSports Team, "Empyreal"! Their main request was for a light blue flame logo, something abstract and they used the word "artistic" to better describe it. When I created the flame symbol I decided to add the letter E hidden within it for a more unique design! Initially I showed them three different sketches to choose from and move forward with. As you can see in the beginning of the video this is the one they liked the most :)
I decided to leave out the portion of the design process where I picked and edited the specific Typeface to compliment their logo. Mainly because it took me a few hours to search and find the best font. This specific typeface was also further customized to further compliment their logo design by creating a lowercase letter E to replace the capital E within the typeface.
In the end we are both extremely satisfied with the final outcome of the design! I hope you all enjoy the SpeedArt video.
Please feel free to leave any of your questions in the comment section below! Thanks for watching,
Derrick.
