I finished binging the SA Arc a few days ago, and got inspired to make an AMV..
This Arc had me tear up quite a few times yo.. From that finale episode..
Yooo Shigeshige the fucccckin feels!!
But the highlight for me in this Arc was definitely 2 specific episodes.
Watching episode 304 and 305 was an amazing experience, especially
now that I look back on the Gintama series.. it leaves me in awe at how truly amazing this character,
Sakata Gintoki is.
Yoshida Shouyou, definitely the most important person ever in Gintoki's life.
I still can't believe it... I figured it was the Bakufu who killed Shouyou which they technically did....
BUT WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT HIS LIFE WAS TAKEN BY NONE OTHER THAN GINTOKI!?
Despite how much Gintoki clearly loved, cared and honoured him more than anyone...
Despite wanting to save him more than anyone.. he had no other choice but to take his life.
Now who would have thought that behind that smile Gintoki had through out the series,
Behind the vulgarity, nonsense and pure insanity this man Gintoki has given us along side the Yorozuya fam, and everyone else,
He carried such a tragic past as this on his back this whole time!?
Revenge? No, he said to hell with that hatred bullcrap!
I'll live life how it should be, beautifully right until the end.
This man Gintoki, has to be one of the greatest characters I've ever come across! I love this series so much!
