Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers

The Chateau was partially destroyed by a great fire on March 13, 1932, just after the baron Robert Lejeune, then owner of the castle, had installed new central heating.............. The castle now remains in ruins and is nigh on inaccessible due to the surrounding moat. Only the chapel in the trees behind the castle is still in reasonable condition. The music is not my copyright it's by Erik Satie: - Gymnopédie No 1. It captures the peculiar French desolation that inhabits this place. The pictures are mine and the originals are here https://www.flickr.com/photos/infraredd/sets/72157652361460794
