Wirral Transport Museum 'Wirral Bus & Tram Show' 04.10.2015 Part 1/2

 

Part 1/2. On the 4th October 2015, I visited the 18th Wirral Bus & Tram Show, held by the Wirral Transport Museum in Birkenhead. The museum was also celebrating it's 20th anniversary. An intensive service of both trams as well as visiting buses were to be seen as well as classic cars. Trams in service included; Liverpool Corporation Tramways No. 762, Liverpool Corporation Tramways 'Baby Grand' No. 245 (which had just re-entered service in September after a lengthy restoration), Birkenhead Corporation Tramways No. 20 (not seen in this video), Wallasey Corporation Tramways No. 78 and Lisbon Tram No. 730. On static display; ex Hong Kong Trams No's 69 and 70. In this first part of the video; a look is first taken at the many classic and military vehicles at Woodside Ferry Terminal, next some views across the River Mersey of Liverpool, then some views of static trams and buses at Pacific Road Depot and lastly a look is taken at the large display of restored and modern buses.
