Fabian Cancellara is one of the greatest time-trial specialists of all time, so it's only natural he would pilot one "badass" TT bike. Just ask him!

The custom paint scheme on Fabian Cancellara's Trek Speed Concept time-trial bike integrates a nod to his Swiss heritage (and nine national TT titles) as well as to his nickname, Spartacus. The race machine utlizes aero wheels from Trek's Bontrager brand — a rear disc, and a front Aeolus 9; both are outfitted with VeloFlex tires. The drivetrain consists of Shimano Di2 electronic; something different to Cancellara's road bike, which he explains in this video. For maximum power, Cancellara pushes a Shimano Dura-Ace 56-44 chainring set up. Braking is a mix of Dura-Ace levers and Bontrager integrated front and rear brakes, with the rear brakes located under the bottom bracket. All in all, it's a bike made for just one thing — going as fast as possible. Or, as Cancellara tell us, "It's a badass bike."
