The National Urban League releases a report on the status of Black America and finds that across the

(2 Apr 2014) While unemployment has been a major problem for African Americans' economic progress, underemployment has been a bigger obstacle for them than it has for whites or Hispanics as the country pulls itself out of the recession, the National Urban League says in its latest State of Black America report. National Urban League CEO Marc Morial spoke about the findings of the report and what the most important recommendations for Congress are in respect to underserved communities. The National Urban League did the survey over 80 large American cities with significant African-American and Hispanic populations.
