Eurostar 9126 (London St. Pancras to Brussels Midi/Zuid) - August 19th, 2015

 

(To continue to Cologne, see here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDjzh5FBvB8 ) This is a ride on Eurostar 9126, the 10:58 departure from London St. Pancras to Brussels Midi, with intermediate stops at Ebbsfleet and Lille. We begin our journey at London St. Pancras, next door to London Kings Cross on Euston Road. Our Eurostar is 373211/373212, a GEC-Alstom built Class 373 Eurostar built in 1991-1992. The power cars are sporting the new livery, while the carriages are still sporting the old livery and interior. Due to a delay at the entrance to the channel tunnel on the UK side, we arrive into Brussels Midi approximately twenty minutes late, leaving me just five minutes to catch my connecting service! (I did catch it, but due to the significant delay I had to sacrifice any chance of getting video footage of deboarding and exploring Midi station in order to catch my connection to Cologne).
