Bosnia - Snipers Break 2 Month Old Ceasefire

(14 Apr 1994) Ongoing diplomatic efforts to find peace in Bosnia have been marred by an outbreak of sniper and machinegun fire in Sarajevo in a serious violation of the two-month-old ceasefire in the city. The first outburst of shooting lasted 45 minutes but resumed later on Wednesday (13/4) evening, mainly around a section of Sarajevo's Serb-Moslem front line.
