Who do YOU think the new villian is?? Could the new villian within Naruto Gaiden be Shisui?! Who else could it be that cared for itachi?? Would it even make sense for Kishimoto to create an entirely new villian and have him care for itachi? Shisui Uchiha was in the original Naruto manga and Naruto Shippuden anime. He died in order to protect the hidden leaf village. Naruto Gaiden is basically a short Naruto part 3 series. The mini-series will focus on Sasuke's daughter, Sarada Uchiha, and the next generation of shinobi in Konohagakure. This mini series is all a big follow up to Naruto Manga Chapter 700 which ended the very popular Naruto manga and it ofcourse ended with us seeing our fellow hero Naruto become the 7th Hokage The Naruto Gaiden manga is currently focused on Sarada meeting Sasuke with the help of Naruto since they encountered a new villian Shin Uchiha. All of these events happen after the Last Naruto the Movie which was centered around Naruto & Hinata which included the villian toneria and a naruto and hinata kiss at the end of the film! This film was basically the middle part between Naruto 700 and Naruto Gaiden. Naruto Gaiden will last for about 2 more months and it will lead us to Boruto Naruto the Movie ボルト‐ナルト・ザ・ムービー which will launch in August and will be the 8th Naruto movie and a follow up of the Naruto mini series, Naruto Gaiden is currently going on.
