Ever just feel restless? Like you can't sit still because you're rushing with energy, or thought after thought after thought? Like you wish you could just SWITCH OFF your mind?
A simple hack I learnt whilst meditating recently was this:
The mind is like a monkey
It just from thought to thought to thought.
The more restless our mind, the greater our craving and aversion to reality is the more unstable it becomes. These agitations create a wild and dangerous mindset.
We lose our balance and peace.
Sometimes, meditation alone is not enough. Or writing. Or whatever your usual means of coping is.
So take your mind FOR A WALK. Walk it all out. Express that energy.
Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk.
