Gradually, though, DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn emerged as prime movers, South Side boys with a crate full of beats designed to move the crowd, but the curiosity and knowledge to look beyond their neighbourhood. First, they travelled to Detroit, and then the world, encouraged by admirers from the UK bass scene, such as Addison Groove.
