Exposing Paylakes: The Truth Revealed

 

While a lot of people believe larger catfish are fish farm stocked, or just naturally found in paylakes and other small body's of water. This is typically NOT true. Our objective is to educate the public and lawmakers about catfish pay lake stocking practices. These paylakes our depleting major rivers of large catfish. Pay lakes with 20 plus pound catfish, are almost always stocking river NETTED fish. These paylakes usually have a high mortality rate and have to restock quite often. In turn, leaving some major river larger catfish populations struggling(like most of the Ohio River.) So we come to you today to ask for your support in our goal of protecting this priceless natural resource. Besides being one of the largest and most sought after fish in the country. Catfish are also the front-line defense against undesirable water occupants, such as zebra mussels and Asian carp.
