The search for a working car leads to a mostly empty town, inhabited only by the infected and Joel's mentally unstable business partner, Bill. Subtitled in Portugese: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yrhUptqQt8&feature=youtu.be 1080p/60fps Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3BMlJHZL0wbMlU5azlRakx3VEE&authuser=0 More info: This cinematic playthrough is a project designed to push a common and highly demanded (but overly abundant) type of content, YouTube playthroughs, into a more artistic, cinematic, and accessible space. I have three goals in creating this series… 1. Edit and film the playthrough in a way so that non-gamers, or people who are otherwise unable to play the game for any number of reasons, can enjoy watching the game play out as much as players enjoyed playing through it. 2. Give fans of the game a new lens through which to view a game they otherwise know too well. (And for fans who don’t want the movie to be made because it can’t possibly do the game justice in their eyes, this can be an alternative.) 3. To motivate developers, like Naughty Dog, to incorporate film making tools into their future games (think Theater Mode from Halo and Call of Duty, or the Cinema Mode from Uncharted 2 and 3’s multiplayer, but also functional in campaign). By giving the players more in-depth film making tools to be used both in campaign and multiplayer, the communities built around their games will be far stronger, and the longevity of their games will increase tenfold as the creativity and passion of their fans is unshackled and blossoms into short films, sketches, cinematic playthroughs… etc. The possibilities are literally endless. If you enjoy this series, just imagine how good it could have been if I were able to move the camera freely and adjust the depth of field and field of view (as you’re able to in Photo Mode). That’s the kind of freedom I hope games in the near future can give us, and hopefully this series will demonstrate the need and demand for such features. This Cinematic Playthrough Series is a lone effort by me that requires dozens of hours put into filming, editing, rendering and uploading. If you enjoy the series, you can help support its production by donating to me any amount you feel is fair. Every bit helps and goes towards making the series as best as it can. Thank you!
