CARTA: Bus Observations - New Flyer D35LFRs & XDE40s (January 2015)

The first batch of New Flyer D35LFR "semi-Low Floors" were ordered in 2010, with the shipment of eleven buses. The very next year, in 2011, five more were ordered in the 2nd-generation (or "face-lift" to be accurate) design configuration. There are only sixteen buses of this model in the fleet, but are the very first low-floor vehicles in CARTA's history.
