In this edition of Plumbing Medic’s Educational minute, Service Manager Mike Roberts shows you how to identify a toilet leak using food coloring. Simply put around 5-10 drops in the back of the toilet, and wait 15 minutes. After the time is up, look in the toilet bowl, and if you see the food coloring in there, then you know that you have a leak in between the tank and the bowl. If you have a plumbing problem that you don’t want to tackle, we’re available 24/7, 365 days a year!
