Leon, Iloilo, Barangay Bacolod sound system

Filipinos in general are very well-mannered people. There are though a few who are jerks and society does little to correct their bad behavior, often due to fear of some kind of revenge. This is a video of Barangay Bacolod, Leon, Iloilo. The scenery is gorgeous, but there is no peace and quiet. The people who live here have to put up with sound systems echoing through the picturesque valley. I was nowhere even close to the sound system and never even saw it. And remember, mobile phones do a bad job of picking up things like this. it was actually quite a bit louder. I can't imagine who would want to live here. Putting up with the NPA isn't enough. The unfortunate people who live here have to deal with sound systems too. Way to go Mr. Barangay Captain!
