Chevy Corvette Grand Sport gets ALMOST stuck in 696 flood in Michigan.

 

I own a carpet company in Michigan and was on my way home from work the other day when a flash flood hit I 696. My 2010 Corvette made it through the flood while all other cars went underwater. I saw a lot of cars pulling off to the shoulder but once I noticed the water coming UP from the sewers, I knew we would be in trouble if we just sat there waiting. Luckily I acted fast and pushed through because less than 5 minutes later, this entire Michigan Interstate 696 expressway was completely under water. In fact, the water was over 10 feet deep before the city pumps were fixed and the sewers began to work again. I got lucky. Even when UAW Workers for General Motors go on strike, GM Chevy Corvette never quits!
