Most flowering plants depend on a vector to transfer the pollen to the female reproductive structures in order to produce fruits and seeds. The evolution of this mechanism of pollen transfer leave us the possibility to see multiple ways to achieve the purpose of reproduction in plants. The video discusses pollination explaining how the three most common types of pollination work (self-pollination, cross-pollination by wind, and cross-pollination by bees) and what impact has the "choice" for the plant of each of them?
