Winti is a religion in Surinam. Surinam is in South America. It is a former colony of the Netherlands. During slavery numerous black africans where deported to different parts of the world. Surinam was one of them. Eventhough the slaves where beaten (to death) humiliated, etc, etc they never lost there faith in there believe in Anana (God) and his komfo (angels, spirits). Enjoy this (short) movie!
