The anti-talks IK Songbijit faction of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB-S) has released a video clipping to announce the launch of an operation to assassinate politicians, Assam Police chief and superintendents of police. The outfit's announcement comes a week after the Centre cautioned the state government against definite plans by the outfit to target candidates of national parties and disrupt the coming Lok Sabha election, particularly in its area of operations, on the northern banks of the Brahmaputra. The video clipping with the voice of an unidentified cadre of the revealed that NDFB(S) has sent its 35-member " Iragdao Brigade" to launch "2nd Urailang Operation" in the state.
