Harlem Globetrotters surprise U.S. Military Family

 

Bull Bullard and Sweet J Ekworomadu of the Harlem Globetrotters brought a Christmas surprise to a deserving military family at Baltimore Arena. The team returned to the U.S. this week from their annual military tour of U.S. military bases overseas. One of the armed forces they entertained was Yeoman Chief Lewis Brickhouse, who, like many Americans, will be away from his family over the holidays while serving his country. Chief Brickhouse was selected by the Globetrotters to receive the specially made camouflage game ball. The Chief signed the ball and gave it back to the Globetrotters to deliver to his son in Baltimore. He also videotaped a special Christmas message to his son, who is a huge basketball fan. Sweet J and Bull played back the video for Chief Brickhouse's children, gave them the military game ball, and presented them with five free tickets to see the Globetrotters at Baltimore Arena on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. The event was made possible by Navy Entertainment and Armed Forces Entertainment.
