The same is true for all individuals as well. We have the power to choose our thoughts and perceptions about "What Happened?" We all have the power to change our beliefs to live happier and fulfilling lives regardless of our circumstances. We have the ability to be independent and live without allowing other individuals influence our peace and personal well-being. The key is to choose positive thoughts that make us feel good. Catch yourself focused on negative thoughts by taking a deep breath and relaxing for a moment. Ask yourself "How do I feel right now?" If the answer is negative, then stop doing what you are doing because it does not serve you or anyone around you. Instead decide to relax your thoughts and not act until your thoughts become peaceful or pleasant. Then any action taken from there will make you and others feel good. The trick is being patient enough to be able to wait until the destructive turbulence in your mind begins to calm. Then from a place of peace make your decision. From a place of peace decide if you are really hungry or just thirst for water, if you really need to help this person or are crying out for help for yourself, do you really need to impress people or just love yourself? The Choice Empowered Youth Programs have been developed by master business coach and healthy habit expert, Scott Gallagher. An in depth Habit Mastery Q & A Seminar -- Students and educators can attend a session as a master habit coach answers questions about how to build, maintain, and grow by building lifelong healthy habits. Personal questions and situations can be addressed as well. 3. The 4 Week Habit Mastery Workshop -- Kids, adult school community members, and staff will self-select to be part of this 3 hour session where they begin to learn the power of integrity and honouring themselves. In groups of 3 or 4 all participants will create healthy habits or habits they want to create that will lead them to the life they want. The team will hold each person accountable without making the person wrong or punishing them. Honesty and integrity are rewarded. 4. The Train The Trainer Session -- For 1 hour after school, the adult participants of the revolutionary school program curriculum are trained in supporting the students and each other in creating healthy habits. They receive expert advice to make incredible and lasting changes in their personal lives (whether it is losing weight, quitting smoking, or being a better parent and friend). 5. The 4 Week Habit Mastery Program -- After the programs are delivered to a qualified school, the self-sustaining program continues. It is where the real work and real results begin! After 28 days of building healthy habits and success habits, students have quit or reduced smoking, drinking alcohol, nail biting, self-harming, bulimia, anorexia, internet addictions, etc. I should note that the 4 week program is supported with weekly coaching calls for the adult participants.
