Conway Local & UP Passenger Special Conway, AR 10-4-13

 

I got word that a special move of 4 passenger cars was headed to North Little Rock so we went to Conway to intercept it, but it was delayed because of an Art Show happening in Downtown Conway! I met another railfan from Pine Bluff, and we waited for the special. The Conway Local stopped down the line to do some switching, then continued north. Finally, at 8:18 PM UP 8082 and 8022 rounded the curve into Conway and went screaming by with the four passenger cars in tow! I could hear the GEVOs horn as far away as Mayflower!
