The Project Australia: Minor Blooper - No Opener (2013)

The September 3, 2013 edition of Network Ten's The Project didn't have the usual opening sequence which is used to tease the program's headline stories. The reason is unknown, but unresolved technical issues could have been to blame. This forced the program into a 'cold open' -- an introduction minus the opening graphics or teasers, but presenters Charlie Pickering and Carrie Bickmore laughed it off, pointing the finger at their resident comic sidekick Dave Hughes. The Project is a national program broadcast live (EST) each weeknight from Network Ten's ATV-10 studio, located at the Como Centre in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra.
