Generator Quiet Box (Baffle Box)

 

Just an example of an easy to make Generator Quiet Box or Baffle Box. This took me about an hour to build. All you really need is a couple 2 X 4's, a sheet of plywood, some quiet board, some L Brackets, Great Stuff Foam, and Screws. You can get everything from Home Depot, Lowes, or pretty much any hardware store. Hopefully this helps anyone interested in making their generator much more quiet. If you are wondering how to plug into the generator, all you have to do is run the extension cord through the opening in the front. It is easiest to do this if you run it through the opening while the Baffle Box is standing upright and then cover the generator after you have your cords plugged in.
