Subwoofer Encounter with a Kicker Solo-Baric L7 | Car Audio

Well, All I was doing was just helping my cousin re-wire his system by moving his amp up closer to the battery and fresh speaker wire from the amp to the sub. In the car right now is an MTX MXS-1204 being pushed by a Hifonics Gladiator GLX1400.1D at 4 ohms. THe subwoofer box is 2.57 cubes tuned to 30Hz. The guy, who was working on the house across the street, came over 'cause he heard us bumping and told my cousin that he had a square kicker. We took the woofer out of the little box it came in, and turns out it's a first gen L7. Works perfectly except one of the tensil leads was riped off of the terminal (not the cone for a change). I read that's common when people put about 700-1000 watts to the sub, so I hard-wired it to test it, and it works perfectly. GOnna build a box for it. Nice little toy for ungodly cheap!
