"Don't shy away love. I like giving you goose bumps." He whispered in my ear before Liam made his way over. I rolled my eyes before scooting over so Liam could sit in-between us. It wasn't that I was really mad at Louis, but he was making me feel things I didn't want to deal with on this trip. "We got one room." He plopped down, spreading us even farther apart. "Great. Is it, a suite or something?" I asked, honestly curious. Liam laughed, catching on to my joke. Louis just sat there looking dumb struck. I smiled, letting myself remember the times Liam and I would lay in his room, watching Disney. We watched the premiere of The Suite Life of Zach and Cody together. We were laying on his bed, playing cards. "Gold fish." He sighed, as he flipped through some more channels. "Do you have a two?" "Gold fish!" I giggled. He rolled his eyes before fishing for another card. He hated this game with a passion. He thought it was childish and pointless. I didn't care though. It was my favorite game. He agreed with to play with me only because he didn't feel like being home alone and I threatened to leave if he didn't play. "Can we stop now? Neither of us are going to win!" He groaned. The channel was stopped on Disney, as a new theme song came on. We both turned and watched as the Sprouse twins were running around a huge lobby. I knew what hotels were, but I had never been in one. The first episode began to play and our game was forgotten. I lifted myself up and got comfortable next to him, cuddling into his side. We watch until the credits rolled out. "I'm gunna live there someday." I whispered, not sure if he was asleep or not. "I'm sure. You haven't even been to a hotel." "So? Just 'cause you haven't been somewhere doesn't mean you can't live there!" "I'm just saying." He groaned as he lifted the covers back. He snuggled into them. I laid there staring at him till he looked up. "Liam?" "Hm?" "Can I stay here tonight?" My abuse at this point was intolerable. It didn't matter if I came home two hours late or two days late. The beating would be the same. Part of me wishes she would've been more creative with her beatings. I knew they were coming. I think it would've been better if I didn't know how or when. Maybe that would be worse, but I didn't know. "Sure, climb in." He lifted the covers for me. I shifted under the covers and cuddled closer to him. I could feel his breathing getting steadier, so I asked one last question before he fell asleep. "Liam?" "Yes Sarah?" He chuckled. "Will you take me to a place like that someday?" He opened his eyes and smiled. "Of course." He held true to his promise too. About a year before he left for the first time, his family was taking a vacation. Liam didn't want to go because they were visiting historical places. His mom agreed to let him stay, simply because his sister was staying behind as well.
