In New Species, genetically engineered humans mixed with animal DNA escape the evil pharmaceudical company that created them and must build a new life outside captivity, while always trying to protect themselves from the remnants of the pharmaceudical company that are still after them and the human groups that are prejudiced against them. This is a contemporary paranormal romance series.
