On May 8, 2012, WACO high school students bid farewell to their long-beloved vocal music instructor in a final concert. Millie Youngquist taught at WACO for thirty-four tears, seeing many other teachers come and go during her time. The great sadness is that WACO will now be dividing the full load of music courses, lessons, concert performances, practice room supervision . . . . between fewer teachers, leaving less personal attention for the music students.
