Removing a leech in Tanah Toraja

 

OK folks, I hear you, that there is One True Way to remove a leech, and I'm lucky to still have my foot. This one was in an overgrown rice paddy. At first I wanted to see if it would get all bloated up, but then I could actually feel the blood going out of me, so I decided to remove it.
