Process Optimization at VW Logistics Centers

Volkswagen AG guarantees supplies of spare parts for customers in more than 170 countries through its Original Parts Centers or OTCs. This is only possible if it has ideally designed processes. The logistics work stations at OTC 1 in Baunatal were analyzed and assessed using MTM in a pilot project. This resulted in a ten percent increase in productivity on average, ergonomically designed work stations and highly motivated employees.
