In case you forgot, Israel is still illegally occupying East Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza. Millions of Palestinians don't get to enjoy Fred Astaire's "Heaven". Instead, they're forced to live in refugee camps or under the constant threat of eviction as Israel builds more and more illegal settlements in West Bank. They're not allowed to return to their own land and are treated as second-class citizens in their own country.
This has nothing to do with antisemitism or any kind of hatred towards Jews. It's simply about giving Palestinians the right to live happy, decent lives along with their Jewish neighbors. Support BDS movement: https://bdsmovement.net/
In the video, Fred Astaire is performing "Cheek to Cheek" in the movie "Top Hat" (1935).
Heaven, I'm in Heaven,
And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak;
And I seem to find the happiness I seek
When we're out together dancing, cheek to cheek.
Heaven, I'm in Heaven,
And the cares that hang around me thro' the week
Seem to vanish like a gambler's lucky streak
When we're out together dancing, cheek to cheek.
Oh! I love to climb a mountain,
And to reach the highest peak,
But it doesn't thrill me half as much
As dancing cheek to cheek.
Oh! I love to go out fishing
In a river or a creek,
But I don't enjoy it half as much
As dancing cheek to cheek.
Dance with me
I want my arm about you;
The charm about you
Will carry me thro' to Heaven
I'm in Heaven,
and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak;
And I seem to find the happiness I seek
When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek.
