Guiding Light November 1983 Phillip is in the stables crying that Beth has rejected him while she's in the shower crying after having been raped by Bradley. Later, Phillip daydreams about Beth in the stables and DreamBeth freaks out when he touches her cheek. At the Student Union, Phillip tells Rick how desperate is to talk to Beth and find out what's wrong. Rick urges him to back off and give her space. When Beth arrives, Phillip tries to convince her to talk to him about what's going on but she insists that she can't do this. Phillip challenges her to look at him and tell him that she doesn't love him. She looks at him, tells him that she doesn't feel anything, and leaves.
