James and Starr scenes on July 7, 2010

In the abandoned barn Starr rushes to James who's collapsed from the gunshot. Bull is dead and everyone wonders about the second shot they heard. Todd makes sure Dani is okay then goes to Starr. "Dad," Starr screams. "I shot him!" Todd and Nate carry James out as Starr cries, "He can't die!"
Todd, Starr, Dani and Nate follow James into the hospital next. Todd warns Starr to stay quiet about what happened then berates Nate for stealing James' money. He turns his attention to Dani and says she could've got shot. What would that have done to her mother! Dani reminds him she's fine, now Tea won't miss any of the milestones that moms love. Todd gives the cops a brief statement then lashes out again at Nate who tries to apologize. Todd fears Tea will kill him over this but Dani says, "Don't worry. I'll tell her how amazing you were and I'll mean it." Todd notices a missed call from Tea on his cell. Dani tries to calm Starr and holds her close. Blair spots Todd from around the corner and fills him in on Tea. After Todd rushes off Blair sees Starr and is shocked to hear that she shot someone. Starr tries to explain but the doctor appears. James is bleeding internally. The bullet did a lot of damage. Blair goes to drill Dani who wonders if Todd told her anything. She saw them talking and asks, "What was that all about?" Greg appears to tell Blair about Tea's results. "My mother?" Dani asks. "Is she here?"
Starr goes into James' room and talks about his condition. He's unconscious. She knows he never meant to hurt anyone. He was just trying to get away. "I never meant to hurt you," Starr cries in her hands. "Is there onions in here?" James whispers. "Cause there's no way you're crying over me." Starr agrees to allow James to call her twinkle, only if he makes it through surgery. He promises then is wheeled off to the operating room.
