Kyle and Oliver
Confirmed days: Tuesday, July 21, Wednesday, July 22
Ive come to realize the real stars of this show are Ilene Kristen (Roxy) and Crystal Hunt (Stacy), the girl you love to hate. Kristen has been around soaps for what, the last 30 years? I love this woman! Check her and her band out here http://www.youtube.com/user/ilenekristen If anyone doesnt realize how wonderful the talented Crystal Hunt is just watch her here, today! Of course, some credit has to go to the writer and director for putting her in a full length mink coat over red lace panties and bra, while she trashes a car and tumbles down a stair well. Absolutely classic!
Scott Evans was pretty great him self today in his portrayal of Fish running the emotional gambit of guilt, denial, self doubt, fear, desperation. He does quite a job in a somewhat understated way.
On July 19, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo will host a luau-themed party to honour the première of My Big Gay Italian Wedding. Playwright Anthony Wilkinson, who works on the One Life crew, wrote the play and stars alongside Scott Evans (Fish). The play is scheduled to première on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, N.Y. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic research.
Don't expect Kyle (Brett Claywell) to be spending his nights alone while Fish (Scott Evans) tries to figure out what team he wants to play for on One Life to Live. While both Agim Kaba and Nicholas Galbraith were rumored to be up for the role of Nick, a guy Kyle will date to make Fish jealous, we're hearing out Broadway actor Nicholas Rodriguez has snagged the short term role. He first appears Friday, August 14. http://daytimeconfidential.com

Now that Oliver (Scott Evans) has been getting to Kyle (Brett Claywell) with his apparent new interest in Layla (Tika Sumpter), we are excited to divulge that another person is about to be thrown into the mix of jealousy woes! Though there have been rumors flying around about who will play a new character named Nick, one who Kyle may use to try to make Oliver jealous, ABC has just confirmed to Soaps.com that Nicholas Rodriguez has been cast as Nick! Kish to kiss, The Suds Report: July 17, 2009 By Nelson Branco
With CBS being justly criticized for the lack of physical affection between their gay couples — GLs Otalia, Y&Rs Radam, and World Turns Nuke — its nice to see that ABC is the only network that refuses to treat their gay lovers any different from their heterosexual counterparts. Suds Report has learned that fledgling couple Kyle and Fish will indeed kiss on-screen on Aug. 6, so if youre not watching One Gay To Love, start tuning in now. The Kish storyline is by far the most interesting story on the soap and is quickly becoming the most realistic gay coupling on daytime. Look for an exclusive interview with Brett Claywell (Kyle) and Scott Evans (Fish) next week at Out.com.
