Th-this is my first ever MMV, and my seventh video ever xD (the number seven has popped up three times in my description so far. Which is kind of... weird). I adore the NNO anime, but the manga is just shockingly, astoundingly better. I had heard this song a lot before, but when I heard it directly after seeing chapter 54, I was absolutely stunned, and was positive that it had been made for the latest turn the series has taken. I cleaned/cloned/leveled the scans in Photoshop, then imported them into Vegas. IT TOOK FOREVER. Like my Distant End AMV, this is my baby, and is something that I never dreamed I'd actually be able to attempt.
I really enjoyed making it, and can only hope that people enjoy watching it. I'm rather happy with how it turned out, and I learned a bunch while experimenting with various effects.
My absolute favorite parts to make were my sad little attempts at animation, like turning the TV off (lol, that part broke my brain trying to figure out how to make it work) and making the birds fly.
This is mostly about Miharu and Yoite, and specifically Miharu post-chapter 50, because I thing this song fits so well with what all the characters are going through. It also has a fair amount of Yukimi and some Hana, because I adore her. Tsukasa and Makoto & Itsuwari also show up. And Thobari, too.
My sister said this seems a bunch like a pairing AMV o_o but is not necessarily intended to be yaoi or shounen-ai. Take it as you will.
For anyone who hasn't read the manga story of Yoite's backstory, parts of this AMV may come as a surprise.
Anyway, I'm absolutely scared out of my wits, since this is something totally new for me. o_o Comments would be appreciated beyond what words could possibly express.
The text at the end of the AMV is a quote from Miharu in the most recent chapter. Behold my fail translating skills!
