https://www.etc.cmu.edu/about/last-lecture Randy Pausch made a surprise return to Carnegie Mellon University to deliver an inspirational speech to the Class of 2008 at the Commencement ceremony on May 18, 2008. Carnegie Mellon University alum and professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007 before a packed McConomy Auditorium. It became an internet sensation viewed by millions, an international media story, and a best-selling book that has been published in more than 35 languages. At CMU, it still inspires us today.
