Langrisser 2 - Battle 26, Part 1 (of 3) Here is the prime reason to level Jessica earlier in the game. This is the second to last battle of the game and if she still needs some leveling work the large number of mages directly ahead with artillery units makes that difficult. Mages are highly susceptible to being overwhelmed by ballista fire. The main threat is Eggbert himself. As a level 10 Zarvera weilding the Dark Rod his meteor spell HURTS. In part two you'll get to see him 1-shot ballista. If Elwin has poor magic resistance have him equip the Angel Wing to give him magic immunity.
