Coronation Street shock as Chesney Brown's life hangs in balance after bruta| stabbing

Coronation Street fans were left reeling as Chesney Brown's life hangs in the balance after tonight's episode. The fan favourite had had a big argument with his on-off girlfriend Sinead, and had just patched things up. He went over to the Bistro to have words with Sinead's ex Daniel Osborne, but ended up caught in the middle of a big fight between Robert Preston and his old associate Rich. Rich accidentally stabbed him with a broken glass bottle, and Chesney was left badly wounded and rushed to hospital.
